Williams oversees her family's philanthropic entity, the Windfall Foundation, which focuses on children's issues, education, health, environmental conservation, and the arts. She serves on the boards for Doctors Without Borders and Seacology, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the environments and cultures of islands throughout the world. Williams, her husband and three adult children live in San Francisco.
